KONMARing Life - Get Rid of Clutter- Real Life experience

This Festive Season , I got rid of clutter and believe me I felt amazing. The thought of initiating de-cluttering and simplifying your home can be over-whelming at first but the end result is PURE JOY. When you come back to a functional and organised home after a hectic day, it feels relaxing and blissful. Also, the mornings become less stressful as you find things at their designated place in no time. Do you want to know What to Declutter?  1. My closet was suffocating and screaming aloud for some space. I gave it some free space by purging and donating clothes which I seldom wore or clothes that never sparked JOY. But , before donating I thanked them and it felt great (may sound hilarious still do it) 2.My linen closet also got de-cluttered and was kept minimalist. 3.Growing up toddlers means lots of clutter of broken toys and lost socks, etc. which lead to messed up rooms. I tried to minimize the clutter by purging toys which no longer attract my kids and designated

From Infants to Toddlers... A & A Turn TWO

This post is a letter written on the eve of my kids second birthday. Hello Our Lifelines, As you both complete 730 days of life, we also turn two as parents. And this is just the beginning. It was an amazing journey. We both want to appreciate you both for few things. Here it goes... Thanks for being so tolerant to our impatiences. Thanks for being so entertaining that all our worries flew away. Thanks for being so understanding when we could leave for work everyday. Thanks for being so adorable when any guest wanted to cuddle and kiss. Thanks for being so adjusting when we experimented new recipes. Thanks for being so supportive whenever we had change of babysitters. And at last, Thanks for choosing us to be your parents. It was difficult for us to understand what to do and what not to do after we had you both in your lives. We had taken advises, read books and articles, googled every tiny detail but still every time new things popped up and we both were confused

2018 and Its still Happening

Yet again, the wedding of a girl is prioritized over her dreams and career. Yes, I have intentionally mentioned "Wedding" as the people who persuade  you actually have nothing to do with your "Marriage". People are only bothered to get you wed to an average looking, so called educated, highly paid  man without ensuring his mental and emotional compatibility with the girl. The pathetic scenario in the family for girls have not changed from the days of our grandparents. The condition worsens if the girl is not financially independent and is staying in and around her family and relatives. Relatives and extended relatives add more drama and chaos to the situation and create an environment of negativity and guilt to manipulate the girl for a "YES". Emotional blackmail and creation of low self-esteem often urges the girl to give up her dreams and make compromise with her life. But-Why? Even if the girl has crossed her twenties and is still chasing her

In a Day, A Year Older :)

Hello Everyone! On the eve of my Birthday, as I look back on the last decade of my life, I was over-whelmed by the memories and experiences I had accumulated. The mindset and the growth I have achieved is HUGE. 10 years back, when I was a wrapped in a cocoon , without much idea of  responsibilities and realities of the REAL Life, I was still nagging about small things. But then radical changes took place when I left my parents house to set my career in a new city all alone. From a pampered single child to a working mother of two, life has changed a lot and sure for better. There were highs-lows, health-sickness, supportive people-critical people, good and as well as bad memories; in-short I had an eventful phase of life. Now, when I sit back and think about it, I can see the bigger picture that everything happens for a reason, & I believe for something good. Just wanted to share some of the Life Lessons Learnt from my twenties- 1. Earn your own bread and support your family

I can DO Everything By MYSELF- A Myth

Hello Everyone! Ladies, don't we love to hear the  SUPERWOMAN  title? Women enjoy being attended to, appreciated and applauded. To achieve this immense pleasure, we work hard and try to fulfil all our duties and responsibilities. Many times, in-spite of being overloaded, we still proactively try to lessen the load of our partner/spouse or other family members. No matter, how much time, energy or health it takes, we deliver our best in every field, whether at work or at home. I guess, the release of happy hormones (Dopamine), after being productive and efficient are the main culprits. As a working Mom to toddler twins, I strive hard each day to fulfil my work and home responsibilities. As for me, I try to plan my day, multitask and achieve the goals. The striking off from checklist at the end of day is the most fun part. But do you realize, how much stress it generates, if we fail in achieving any one of the goals at work or home. Many a days, due to unforeseen issues, like th
